Sarracenia oreophila Boaz ,Marshall County, AL O3B MK

Oreophila literally means "mountain lover", from the Greek oreophilos (oros, -eos, "mountain," + philos "loving)
Oreophila have a nice production of spring ascidia, then they wither already in July to make way for low and curved leaves that cover the base of the plant. These leaves are called phyllodes and are typical of Sarracenia oreophila.
