This elegant nepenthes grows with elongated, narrow, light green leaves. The pitchers are almost waxy white and the peristome is bright red that becomes purple in mature traps. In upper pitchers the peristome also becomes very light giving a whitish appearance to the entire trap. Highland Nepenthes are pitcher-trap carnivorous plants that live in tropical mountains with warm days but a sharp drop in temperatures at night.
